I'm back!

Well- that was unexpected. A week in hospital suffering from a DVT. The doctors put it down to my 'sedentary lifestyle'. They don't seem to realise that my diabetes means that I have to take it easy.
90% of the nurses were from the Philipines. 100% of the cleaners were Polish. The place was fucking filthy and nobody seemed to know what was going on half the time. Massive fuss every time i wanted to be wheeled out for a fag. They talk about running the NHS on business lines- well, they should learn about customer care.
Then to add insukt to injury they start lecturing me about my 'lifestyle'. They want me to live on rice and chicken. It's not natural. Plus, i'm on invalidity, not one of their bumper NHS salaries.
I told them about my grandfather- 60 a day and a fry up every morning. Couple of pints every day. he lived to be 90.
Nanny state.
I've probably got a superbug now.

Every Monday I'm going to write a football column.


This week the press is full of soul searching over what's wrong with society. My answer has two words: Joey Barton.
If Joey Barton came looking for a job with you would you employ him? I doubt it. He's exactly the kind of self centered hooligan we've been hearing so much about. And now he's shown us that in adition to that hes a cowerd.
They way he went down like some gay drama queen to get that African lad sent off made me ashamed to be British.


In the Premier league:
 Man Utd showed us why they will be champions again this year- they should have put WBA out of the game in the first 30 minutes. They kept on plugging away and deserved the 3 points. 


QPR walked the Championship last year, and promptly got mauled by a very average team in the shape of Bolton- the gulf in class between Prem and championship is just so obvious. Even Norwich only managed a draw at Wigan ( who are pretty much of the calibre of the teams they were beating easily last year).


Liverpool and Chelsea looked rusty, and Arsenal lacked the imagination to break down Newcastle.


Goal of the day: Larsson (Sunderland).

Cardiff top the championship and their rabid 'fans' must be thinking  ' here we go again...' They'll bottle it in April again for sure.

Punk Rock- produced by the first generation of youngsters born and bred on the misguided socialist regime of the welfare state. White middle class kids, bored with the comfort of suburbia, peddling some fantasy of mean streets and rioting borrowed from the West Indian music the turned to in the search for something different.

There had been antisocial behavior before. Mods v Rockers, football hooliganism- young White working class males fighting among themselves. The Mods and Rockers phenomenon emerging just after the ending of National Service. The Hippie movement for all its 'protest' was a toothless middleclass affair.
Serious social disorder such as we witnessed last week only came to Britain during the punk rock era. middle-class art school thrill seekers.

The Clash, who famously supported terrorist groups like Sandinista, Bader Mineoff and the Red Brigade are often crazily cited as the most influential English group since The Beatles. They glamourised crime and disorder. 

So called post punk groups like The Smiths continued this assault on the moral values of British society- Burn Down The Disco- what sort of pop record preaches that?

This is the music that the parents of our current feral underclass grew up on.

Punk Rock wasn't a joke- it had a pernicious effect on society and we are seeing the end product of that now.

And Hip Hop music as well. Talking about crime over other peoples records. Wonder why they looted jewelers shops? Just look at a picture of any Gangster wrapper.

Bollocks to the politically correct brigade- the recent riots were the work of young blacks. It's the truth and it cannot be avoided.

The Main Man

What a hero.
He tells it like it is. He is the voice of the ordinary British person. Just more humerous and eloquent than most of us can ever dream of being. The lefties and the PC brigade hate him because he is intelletualy a head and shoulders above their so called journalists.

'Elf and Safety! Don't talk.For some reason I’m reminded of the scene in A Fish Called Wanda in which Kevin Kline shoves chips up Michael Palin’s nose. Wouldn’t it be cheaper and easier-pulling out of the EU ,scrapping the Yuman Rites Act and ending immigration.

Football's back...

Something's never change. Man U far too good for City, who I don't think will win anything for another 30 years. As a Liverpool fan I am also resigned to the fact that the Reds are no longer a force in Premier league football.
Another thing that apparently hasn't changed- Cardiff City so called crew are a bunch of shithouses. My West Ham mates on the internet tell me that the family club of the years prolific mob of paperback writing fantasists were nowhere to be found yesterday. Probably seen there was rioting in London and stayed in their valleys. Bunch of tossers. What they doing in the English league anyway?
